Privacy policy
What we collect through this website, why, who receives it, the cookies it uses, and how to ask us about it. Written to be read.
Last updated 29 October 2026. ConradBI, an Oklahoma-based company.
1. What this covers
This policy covers conradbi.com, the pages it serves, and the ways it offers to reach us: asking us for information, emailing us, and registering or signing up. How the ConradBI software treats your business data is set out in the End User License Agreement, sections 5 and 6, and summarized below. The short version: your operational data does not come to us.
2. What we collect, and why
When you ask us for information
The request form on our Contact page composes an email in your own mail app, addressed to team@conradbi.com; nothing reaches us until you send it. What you include (your name, email address, company, what you are interested in, and your message) arrives as an email, and we use it to reply and to arrange what you asked for.
When you email us
If you write to team@conradbi.com, we receive your address and whatever you send. We use it to reply. We publish nothing you send without your written approval of the final text.
When you register early or sign up
The pre-registration form asks for your name, company, email address and phone number. We use them to contact you about your signup and our launch offer. If you create an account, we hold what the account needs: your organization and billing addresses; your people's names, roles and the email addresses they sign in with; which plan you are on; your billing details and invoices; and a record of sign-ins. We keep only what we need to show and manage your billing, such as the name on the card and its last four digits. Context you choose to save for Ask Conrad, the assistant in the software, and any AI provider keys your company chooses to store for it, are kept with your account.
When you simply browse
Our servers and hosting providers receive the information every browser sends with a request, such as your IP address, the browser you use and the page you asked for. They may keep it for a short time in logs, for security and to fix problems.
If you allow analytics cookies
With your permission, Google Analytics records which pages you read, how long you stay and how you arrived, using a random id in a cookie to tell returning visits apart. Your IP address is truncated before it is stored. We use this to see what people find useful. Nothing is recorded for analytics unless you allow it in the cookie notice, and you can change your mind at any time under Cookie settings, in the footer of every page.
What we don't do
We don't sell personal information, we don't share it for targeted advertising, and we don't buy information about you from anyone else.
3. Who receives it
Only the service providers that help us do the things above, each for that purpose: our hosting and network providers, our email provider (to send sign-in codes and replies), Google as our analytics provider if you allow analytics cookies, and our payment processor, once subscription payments are live. Inside the software, Ask Conrad reaches an AI provider only with a key you or your company choose, as the EULA explains, and what it sends depends on the data privacy setting you pick there. In Data Profile mode, only statistics about the data go out (counts, shares, ratios and trends); no dimension values and no absolute amounts leave your machine. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or to a buyer if the business is sold, who would then be bound by this policy.
4. Cookies and browser storage
This site sets no advertising cookies. Analytics cookies are set only if you allow them, and you can change that choice at any time. Everything else is what the site needs to work. All of it is listed here.
| Name | Where it lives | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
cbi_consent | Your browser's local storage, this site | Remembers your cookie choice (analytics allowed or declined) and when you made it. | Until you clear this site's data in your browser |
_ga | A cookie set by Google Analytics, only if you allow analytics | A random id that tells returning visits apart. | 2 years |
_ga_… | A cookie set by Google Analytics, only if you allow analytics | Keeps the pages of one visit together. | 2 years |
conradbi-token | Your browser's session storage, the account pages | Keeps you signed in while the tab is open. Set when you sign in or create an account. | Until you sign out or close the tab |
conradbi-activation | Your browser's session storage, signup | Carries your activation step from signup to your account. | Until it is read, or the tab closes |
__cf_bm | Set by Cloudflare, a network provider, on pages it protects | Tells people apart from automated traffic. | 30 minutes |
You can clear or block browser storage in your browser's settings. The site still works; the notice simply shows again. Declining analytics, or changing your choice to decline, removes the analytics cookies this site set.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. We don't track visitors across sites. Analytics stays off unless you allow it yourself, whatever signals your browser sends, so Global Privacy Control is honored.
5. How long we keep it
Only as long as we need it for the reason we collected it. Emails, including the ones the request form composes, are kept for as long as the conversation and any follow-up need them. Analytics data, if you allow it, is kept in Google Analytics for up to 14 months at the level of individual visits; aggregated reports may be kept longer. Pre-registration details are kept while we follow up on our launch, and you can ask us to delete them at any time. Account details are kept while your account is open. If you delete your account, we keep its records so it can be restored and for tax and accounting; ask us if you want it removed completely.
6. Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email legal@conradbi.com with “Privacy” in the subject. We aim to reply within 30 days. Every marketing email we send has a way to unsubscribe.
7. Children
This site and our software are for businesses and adults. They are not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. Student access is for students aged 18 or over. If you believe a child has given us information, tell us and we will delete it.
8. Security, and where data is handled
We use reasonable safeguards for the information we hold, scaled to what it is. No method is perfect, so if you spot a problem, please tell us. We are in the United States and our service providers mainly process information here. If you contact us from elsewhere, your information is handled in the United States.
9. Changes to this policy
We will post any change here with a new date. If a change affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you before it takes effect.
